Israel-Gaza war live updates: Israeli Ground Operation, Over 15,500 Deaths in Gaza

Israel’s military spokesperson announced an expansion of their ground operation against Hamas throughout the Gaza Strip. With renewed hostilities, many civilians, previously displaced by the conflict, are once again being compelled to flee as the fighting shifts southward.

Approximately 1.8 million individuals, constituting 80% of Gaza's population, are currently displaced within the region, as reported by the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Aid groups and Palestinian families say maps posted online by Israel directing them to “safer” areas are sowing confusion because they lack specifics or those areas are overcrowded or under attack.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported a rising death toll, citing at least 316 casualties in the last day alone. They also expressed the likelihood of additional individuals being trapped beneath the rubble.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported on social media Monday that one of its volunteers lost his life when his home was bombed in the Faluja region of northern Gaza.

The group had reported on Sunday that two of its paramedics sustained injuries when Israeli forces fired at two ambulances in that specific area.
